Journal of Aquaculture Sciences

The Journal of Aquaculture Sciences is published by the Iranian Aquaculture Association and is recognized as a scientific research journal by the Commission for Scientific Publications of the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. The journal is published in Persian, with extended English abstracts, biannually, and publishes scientific contributions across various fields of fisheries and aquatic sciences. The journal has a scientific editorial board and a panel of peer reviewers.

The journal is pleased to announce that access to articles published in the Journal of Aquaculture Sciences is free and open to researchers and scholars (OPEN ACCESS). The journal also follows the ethical guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

In accordance with the Regulations on Scientific Journals of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, approved on April 22, 2019, and to protect the intellectual property rights of researchers and authors of scientific articles and prevent duplicate publication, authors are requested to obtain a similarity report for their manuscripts from either the IranDoc system or Samim Noor and upload the relevant similarity report when submitting their manuscript. Please note that the journal cannot proceed with manuscript review if the similarity report is not submitted.

Announcement

The Journal of Aquaculture Sciences has started to publish a special English-language issue from 1405 (2026–2027) completely free of charge, with no article processing or publication fees for respected authors and researchers. Therefore, all distinguished professors, researchers, and scholars are cordially invited to submit their valuable research in aquatic sciences, including aquatic biology, ecology, aquaculture, toxicology, and related fields, for consideration and possible publication.
