Thymol, a phenolic compound with sedative effects, was used during transportation of common carp (Cyprinus carpio) juveniles in this study. Fish were divided to four groups and 0, 2.5, 5 and 10 mg/l Thymol was added to transportation plastic bags of each group, respectively. The plastic bags were transported for 3 hours. Then, 2 fish were chosen randomly from each bag and blood samples were taken from the caudal vein. WBC and RBC, MCV, MCH, MCHC were measured and percentages of HCT, Neutrophil, Monocyte and Eosinophil were determined. Furthermore, activity of complement, lysozyme and total immunoglobulin were assessed. The results showed that there was no significant difference among the groups contained Thymol and the control group regarding RBC, MCV, MCH, MCHC, Monocytes and Eosinophils after transportation. The lowest Hb and HTC were observed in 5 mg/l thymol group. WBCs, Neutrophils, Lymphocytes, immunoglobulins, lysozymes and complement showed no significant difference in 5 mg/l group, compared to the control group. However, WBCs, Neutrophils, Lysozymes and complement were higher in the 10 mg/l thymol group than the control. Besides, Lymphocytes were lower in 10 mg/l thymol group than the control. It is concluded that adding 5 and 10 mg/l Thymol to the water can, respectively, reduce and increase the transportation stress in common carp.}, keywords = {Common carp,Transportation,Stress,thymol}, title_fa = {اثر افزودن تیمول به آب بر شاخص‌های خونشناسی و ایمنی ماهی کپور معمولی (Cyprinus carpio) در دوره حمل و نقل}, abstract_fa = {تاکنون اسانس های گیاهی متفاوتی در حمل ونقل ماهی ها استفاده شده است که نتایج متناقضی از نظر آرام بخشی و کاهش استرس حمل داشته اند. در مطالعه حاضر از تیمول که یک ترکیب فنولی دارای اثرات آرام بخشی می باشد، در حمل کپورهای معمولی استفاده شده است. به این منظور غلظت های صفر (گروه شاهد)، 2/5، ۵ و ۱۰ میلی گرم در لیتر تیمول به کیسه های پلاستیکی حمل ماهی اضافه و ماهی ها به مدت ۳ ساعت حمل شدند. سپس بلافاصله از هر پلاستیک دو قطعه ماهی به طور تصادفی صید و نمونه خون آن ها از ورید دمی گرفته شد. تعداد گلبول های قرمز و سفید، میزان هموگلوبین (Hb)، MCV، MCH، MCHC، درصد هماتوکریت (HTC)، نوتروفیل، مونوسیت و ائوزینوفیل اندازه گیری شد. همچنین میزان فعالیت کمپلمان، لیزوزیم و ایمنوگلوبولین کل مشخص گردید. نتایج نشان داد تعداد گلبول های قرمز، MCV، MCH، MCHC، درصد مونوسیت و ائوزینوفیل خون پساز حمل ونقل تفاوت معنی داری در گروه های حاوی و فاقد تیمول نداشتند. کمترین مقدار هموگلوبین و هماتوکریت خون در تیمار تیمول 5 میلی گرم بود. تعداد گلبول سفید و درصد نوتروفیل ها و لنفوسیت ها، اینوگلوبولین، لیزوزیم و کمپلمان پلاسما در گروه ۵ میلی گرم تیمول تفاوتی با گروه شاهد نداشت. اما تعداد گلبول سفید، نوتروفیل، لیزوزیم و کمپلمان در گروه ۱۰ میلی گرم تیمول به طور معنی داری بیشتر از گروه شاهد بود. همچنین درصد لنفوسیت ها در این گروه کمتر از گروه شاهد بود. به طور کلی می توان نتیجه گرفت افزودن ۵ میلی گرم و ۱۰ میلی گرم تیمول در هر لیتر آب حملونقل ماهی کپور معمولی به ترتیب باعث کاهش و افزایش استرس حمل ونقل می شود.}, keywords_fa = {کپورمعمولی,حمل و نقل,استرس,تیمول}, url = {http://www.aquaculturesciences.ir/article_134592.html}, eprint = {http://www.aquaculturesciences.ir/article_134592_494963e53226fc26c3ce3f30a3886dc7.pdf} }
